Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be a resident of Gateway to join the Club?

No, and as we are NOT a bundled golf community, Club membership is entirely an optional lifestyle enrichment to your home ownership. You must be a Member to enjoy our Club lifesyle and amentities.

How will I make new friends at the Club?

Our Members are really quite friendly and welcoming, but in addition, when you join, you and each member of your family will complete a Interests Questionaire. There are many ways to meet other club members including: Men's and Ladies' Golf, Daily Games, New Member receptions, and personal introductions though club ambassadors.

Is it difficult to get a tee time? Is the course crowded?

If you are a golfer, you will truly enjoy never having trouble getting on the course, even in Season. (NO TEETIME LOTTERY SYSTEM HERE! - Get the tee times you want!) And as a Member, you will appreciate sub-4hour rounds of golf.

Can anyone join the Men's or Ladies' Golf Games?

Yes, any Golf Member may. There are games for all skill levels. Truly, it is a great way to make new friends, for both golf and socially! Our Members are very open to welcome all newcomers with open arms!

Can I bring my own cart on the course by paying a Trail Fee?

While you can drive your own cart to the Club, only our carts are permitted on the course. For those golfers who play more than twice a week year-round, we have a Cart Lease program which gives you unlimited use, and calculates to reduce your per round cost.

After I join, may I bring guests to the Club?

You may bring as many guests to golf as you wish, with the caveat that the same guest to is limited to six times per year. (Unless they are a registered houseguest-then there is an unlimited 3 week period) Golf Guest Fees vary depending upon the time of year, and a family member (father, mother, sister, brother, or children over 23) receives a reduced rate. The same six-time guest restriction holds true for all Club amenities (pool, tennis, pickleball, bocce ball, fitness center, golf practice facility), with no limitation on the number of guests.

What if I introduce someone who joins the Club?

We hope that you will! Member Referral is a key component to the growth of any Club. Thus, we reward New Member Sponsors with Referral incentives throughout the year.

I heard that there was a back gate into the Club?

True. Many of our Members who live off Treeline Road (Colonial, Plantation, etc.) enjoy the convenience of entering through this back road (Westlinks Dr.), saving them a few minutes, but more importantly, it keeps them out of Daniels Parkway traffic.
