Welcome to Gateway Golf & Country Club

The Club at Gateway is a private 20-hole facility (with no Gateway residency requirement). Our fantastic, Tom Fazio Signature Course regularly receives accolades as being one of the finest layouts and having the best greens in Florida. Adding to a golfer’s dream is our 20 acre practice facility:  transformed in 2013 by course architect Ron Garl, into a trend-setting "Golf Improvement Center", it quickly became recognized by the golf industry as one the finest anywhere. Furthermore, Gateway has been voted a Top Ten Best Courses to Play in Southwest Florida by Florida Golf News, as well as, annually hosting the Gateway Senior Invitational, a GolfWeek sanctioned event boasting a field of top amateurs from some of the finest clubs around the country. Finally, everyone raves about our new Griffin Grille & Pub, a 5000 sq.ft. addition to the Clubhouse. The food is delicious, and the craft beers on tap are ice-cold. Welcome!

All members will enjoy access to the Clubhouse amenities including indoor and outdoor dining, unlimited access to the fitness facilities, active tennis and pickleball programs and new resort-style pool & pool bar.   • The Club at Gateway - Over $5 Million Renovation Complete!

    Families are splashing in the resort pool while others just relax poolside, do a few laps, or have their favorite beverage and a bite to eat at the pool bar.

    Jaws drop as members walk into the new fitness center providing breathtaking views that makes working out that much more enjoyable! The Club’s new Fitness Director, Jennifer Cerulli has added a large array of morning, evening and weekend fitness classes including spinning and water aerobics. “It’s great to be part of this Club. The Members are so excited and eager to try our new fitness classes,” states Jennifer.

  • The Club at Gateway Renovation Update!

    Season is here, Members are back and the excitement continues as all eyes are on the Club renovation project. The new resort style pool is progressing nicely and now you can really see how enormous it will be and imagine yourself having a tropical drink at the pool bar with friends! What a great addition to the Club… beach entry, water features, dedicated lap lanes, 16-seat outdoor bar with TV’s offering specialty beverages and poolside entertainment for Club Members.

  • The Club at Gateway Hosts the Minnesota Twins Celebrity Golf Classic to Benefit Cancer Patients

    Minnesota Twins players, coaches and alumni joined baseball fans and business sponsors at the 22nd Annual Minnesota Twins Celebrity Golf Classic at The Club at Gateway, which raised more than $76,000 in support of the Integrative Medicine Program at the Lee Health Regional Cancer Center, Southwest Florida’s premier cancer care center that treats all aspects of patient care under one roof. The Center has received accreditation with commendation from the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer.

  • The Club at Gateway Renovation Approached Completion!

    The excitement continues as all eyes are on The Club at Gateway renovation project. The new resort style pool is progressing nicely, all the equipment has been installed and they are putting the finishing touches on the detail items, including the tile, colored bubblers, fountains, coping and the pebbletech finish coat. The area is being graded and will begin installing some of the landscaping, irrigation, lighting and sound components and then the pavers. What a great addition to the Club… beach entry, water features, dedicated lap lanes, 16-seat outdoor bar with TV’s offering specialty beverages and poolside entertainment for Club Members.

  • The Club at Gateway Hires Chris Shultis, Director of Golf!

    The Club at Gateway has hired a new Director of Golf, Christopher Shultis. A native New Yorker, Chris attended the State University of New York - Delhi, where his true golfing career began. Chris replaces John Lane who has been promoted to GM at Quail Village, which is also managed by Florida Lifestyle Management Group.
